The bolt is extremely tight and removal is extremely difficult because factory specifications require up to 280 pounds of torque to seat the pulley properly.
This great tool allows the factory torque to be attained to properly seat the pulley.
This is usually needed to tighten the bolts to specifications, also very useful when the crank is positioned forward, like with the For Lexus cars.
