• This is a professional spring clamp suitable for everyday use in the garage.
• This spring compressor is used for repairing and replacing shock absorbers, struts and springs. and works on "Double D" shape shock shaft stems. The kit comprises of 1 spring compressor, measuring 300mm (11 3/4") long and made of heat treated tempered steel with drop forged steel hooks.
• The compressor are simple to use. Firstly, turn the hooks along the thread of the bolt to the correct distance, and then hook them around each end of the spring you need to compress. Then simply tighten the bolt to reduce the distance between the hooks.
• The hex head of the bolt measures 24mm (approx 1") diameter with added feature of a ½’’ drive forged in the middle. Ideal to us an extension bar when the ratchet is impeded by the spring.
